We often hear about effective phrases, impact, self-convocation, PNL, and much more. However, films and books can meet us in our formation and in our growth.
Do the movies teach?
Personally I would say yes: movies can teach. Obviously, not all.
I do not speak of film and film documentaries that we see on TV or directly at the cinema.
When I watch a film I do not do it just to see the scenes, the environments, the play, the plot, and more, but to listen to the content, phrases and situations.
"Whoever never changes his mind will never change anything." Winston Churchill
The darkest hour
This film is based on the character Winston Churchill (Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill (Woodstock, November 30, 1874 - London, January 24, 1965) starring Gary Oldman and directed by Joe Wright.
No, I do not want to talk about the plot of the film, let alone Winston Chruchill or the actor Gary Oldman. In this case I leave you to research on the internet and on Wikipedia:

"I take responsibility, sir, and that's why I'm taking this chair." Winston Churchill
What can this film teach us?
"Darkest Hour" shows that you are determined in your choices, even if you have all against it.
Yes, right, right to listen to hear other opinions, but in the end you're the one who has to decide, and often make certain choices that may be disastrous at first, but if you think well and well they can become winners.
After all, you have everything in Your "Head", and you know the maze of your decisions, and those around you often can not understand and understand your choices and decisions.
Winston Churchill took a position, and kept it to the end, despite having everyone against it.
"What will be our goal? Victory at any cost!" Winston Churchill
What can the character teach us?
Winston Chruchill has a personality that you should partly have, each must be different from the other, fortunately.
A man who was alone, against everyone, but continued to pursue his ideals, his instincts, and won!
Even if it's a film set on World War II, I look back on Oldman's interpretation of Churchill, I saw beyond, I saw the strength of a man and the will of a person in continuing to do what for himself, but mainly for His World (in this case England) was more correct and could save them.
"I'm sealed in the toilet, I think I can handle one poo at a time." Winston Chruchill
Quotes
We are submerged every day on the internet by quotes from historical figures, famous or not. Often we do not understand the meaning, in other cases we would like to understand how that sentence could have come out, what could have pushed the character to say it.
In "Darkest Hour" we have the opportunity to understand many quotes from Winstn Churchill, and thus better understand their meaning.
"Darkest Hour" is a film full of important phrases to think about, and certainly someone to adapt to our daily life, indifferent if working or family or personal.
The phrases or quotations reported, taken from the film "Darkest Hour", are those that I found and that made me more effect. Certainly everyone will consider more suitable for if other sentences and part of these.
Analyze each of these phrases that I have reported, and others that you will also find, and start inserting them in your daily context, you will see the effect it does on you.
"When we teach this lesson, you can not reason with a tiger when your head is in its mouth." Winston Churchill
"We will defend Our island whatever the price to pay.We will fight on the beaches, we will fight on the runways, we will fight in the fields and on the roads, we will fight on the hills. We will never give up.Therefore there can not be any survival without victory." Winston Churchill
Conclusion
I conclude with a sentence, which I consider important, fundamental, and makes it clear who Winston Churchill was, a character who made history, but who also saved Europe and much of the Western world.
The sentence that follows, even in the context in which it is said, can certainly be used without problems by people who are at the management, when you have colleagues who are always ready to say theirs, do not wait for You to finish Your thought, and think that it is always better to fight you, anywhere and anyway.
"He wants to stop interrupting me when I'm interrupting him." Winston Churchill
